Text message terms

BPM Time Off text messages are sent by Bluegrass Precision Motorwerks LLC to its employees. They are short, practical messages. We never send marketing or promotional texts.

What we text

Sign-in and PIN-reset codes, only when you ask for one with your cell number on the “Forgot my PIN / No PIN yet” sign-in page. Example: “123456 is your BPM Time Off sign-in code from Bluegrass Precision Motorwerks. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Time-off decisions, when a request you made (or time off a manager entered for you) is approved, denied or cancelled. Example: “Bluegrass Precision Motorwerks: your time off for Tue, Oct 20 was approved. Reply STOP to opt out.”

That’s all. Managers get their request alerts by email, not by text.

How you agree to get texts

Only you can turn texts on, by ticking the text-message consent box yourself. The box is never pre-checked, and it is separate from accepting these terms or the privacy policy. It appears in two places:

The public “Forgot my PIN / No PIN yet” sign-in page, timeoff.bpmotorwerks.com/login/email, under the email or cell number field. If you leave it unticked, your code is emailed instead.
The time-off request page after you sign in (shown only if your cell number is on your profile).

This is exactly what the box looks like (example only):

When you tick it, we record the date and the wording you agreed to, and send one confirmation text: “Bluegrass Precision Motorwerks: You are subscribed to BPM Time Off texts (sign-in codes and time-off decisions). Msg frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

Agreeing to texts is optional and not a condition of using the site or of your job. Without it you can still sign in with your email and PIN, and you’ll get every decision by email. If a manager changes your cell number, texts turn off until you tick the box again.

How often

Message frequency varies with what you do. You get one text per code you ask for (the site limits this to five an hour) and one text for each time-off decision.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. BPM does not charge you for the texts.

Stop or get help

Stop: reply STOP to any message and we’ll stop texting that number. You can also use “Turn texts off” on the time-off request page. To turn texts back on, reply START or tick the box again.

You can also ask a manager to remove your cell number from your profile.

If you stop texts, you can still sign in with your email and PIN, or with an emailed code.

Carriers and privacy

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your information is handled as described in our privacy policy: no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text-message opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
